1. What are cookies?

2. Current use

IRTAVIA currently uses no first-party cookies for analytics, marketing or personalisation and no embedded social-media trackers. On your first visit to the main address, the preferred language supplied by your browser is used. If you choose another language, a functional cookie named irtavia_lang stores that choice for one year so it can be remembered on later visits. The cookie contains only the language code, is not used for analytics or advertising, and can be replaced by choosing another language.

After the newsletter prompt is closed or submitted, a marker is stored in the browser’s session storage to avoid showing it again during that visit. It is removed when the browser session ends and is not used for analytics or advertising.

The technical host may use information that is strictly necessary for delivery, security or load balancing. It must not be used for advertising or cross-service user profiles.

3. External links

Instagram is linked rather than embedded. Its cookies or similar technologies can be used only after you open the link and leave the IRTAVIA website.

4. Future changes

If optional analytics, marketing or embedded third-party services are later added, they will be activated only after your prior choice. Consent management will allow a decision to be withdrawn as easily as it was given, and this policy will be updated.
